Travel Grants

because we really want you to come!

The organizing committee will allocate part of the conference budget to travel grants for student presenters (both oral presentations and posters, both main session and workshop). These grants will be assigned via an internal selection process based on qualitative and demographic criteria to ensure fair and equitable distribution of available funds.

Selection Criteria

  • Peer review scores of the submitted abstract
  • A short motivation letter or project description
  • Academic status (e.g., pre-doctoral, with or without institutional funding)
  • Geographic origin, prioritizing those facing high travel costs

Application Procedure

There is no separate application form for travel grants. To apply, send us an email to console34@iusspavia.it with the object "Grant Application | [your name]", and attach the following documents:

  • Proof of student status
  • Proof of lack of funding (if applicable)
  • A motivation letter (up to 500 words) explaining the relevance of participating in ConSOLE34 to your research (e.g., if the work of one of the keynote speakers particularly resonates with your own, if the conference's theme is particularly relevant to your research, etc.)
  • Country of institution (to calculate travelling distance)

Grants will be awarded based on the above criteria by the Organizing Committee. The deadline for applications is 1st October 2025.

Notifications

Successful applicants will be notified shortly after the notification of acceptance to the conference.
